For more than ten years, Russ Korins has assisted law firm partners and business executives with defining and communicating the value of their services, with an emphasis on technology to increase the impact of those activities. His consulting to business lawyers integrates all aspects of attorney and law firm marketing, from individual practice development to firm-wide interactive communications. He has written articles and given seminars on business development and marketing for the New York City Bar, New York State Bar Association, New York County Lawyers’ Association, Westchester County Bar Association, and other professional development associations. Having previously practiced corporate and technology law, Russ remains a licensed attorney.
Russ has also advised and consulted for executives of many fast-growing technology and web-based businesses, assisting with marketing, strategic partnerships, and business development. Currently an advisor to 8tracks, an online music service, and to ZoomRadar, an online weather information service, he has also consulted two clients to acquisition at high valuations and several others to dramatic growth. Prior to legal practice, Russ worked in marketing at Transaction Information Systems, Inc., now Starpoint Solutions, a technology consulting firm providing workflow, ERP and staffing solutions to large corporate clients, and The Pipeline, a pioneering Internet service provider. He has a J.D. from NYU School of Law and a B.A. from Yale, where he started the university’s first online weather service.
Jonathan Mincer, principal advisor, has worked with Russ since 2004. He was most recently a Strategic Partner Manager at Google, Inc. and previously worked as a management consultant at Polaris Management Partners. He is a student at University of Pennsylvania Law School, and has a B.A. from NYU, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. |
